"turks heads on the tiller" If you do decide to take up the gauntlet, I know it will be beautiful, just like the rest of your build!

Those masts and crow's nests are looking great! They just totally change the look of the ship.....for the good!

I just found your new log today! Glad to see things up and running again.
I'm sorry to hear about your Mom.....this is a tough stage of life. I lost my Mom to cancer 3 years ago and, no, we are never ready to lose them. Enjoy every moment that you can with her. My thoughts and prayers will be with you both.

Thank-you Walt! I am planning to mast and fully rig with sails. Some will probably be clewed. That's in the distant future though - much work to be done before that.Thank-you Frank! We are not really taking over. We just finally discovered all the fun you "guys" have been having with this hobby!Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you Robbyn! I like a comment Doris made in her log, that she will try to continue to build her model as well as she can to live up to all the praise!Thank-you Michael! I am truly inspired to keep building to as high a standard as possible. My inspiration? The generous comments I receive and all the outstanding models I view here on MSW like yours!

Wow! She really is big! Looking great Andy!
Looking at the phrase in your signature, I'm now expecting to see some duct tape somewhere on the build. (Maybe a plaid flannel shirt and some suspenders are in order too?)

Crackers and Edwin: Thank-you! I am very flattered by your comments! In all fairness, I think that there are many modelers here who are above my knowledge and skill level.I would love to be able to wear the hat marked "Master", but I tried it on and it doesn't fit yet. I sneaked in and tried the hats for Danny, Doris, Remco, EdT (to name just a few of the many) and they were so large I disappeared! Have to confess though, loved the hats.Slors: A Lego ship....hmmmm.....that might be fun! Seriously though, your ships are wonderful and you are NOT a novice!Doris and I sisters? If we were, I would be the older one and therefore should be better and more experienced, but that's not the case - it's a long road to catch up to her skill!!!

Grant: Thank-you!
Augie: I'm still practicing.
Popeye: Thank-you too!
David: Welcome, and thank-you very much!

I have been informed by a highly reputable source, that powder is better suited for metal castings so I will avoid that.
It was suggested that I use a combination of Vaseline and Isopropyl alcohol as a release agent. I am going to try this in the next couple of weeks and will report back with my results.
