  1. Many thanks Allan, After this photo, I really feel satisfied about my decision. Is there any closer photo to show how the coil was tied to the rope?
  2. Hi wefalck, I am very thankful for the information. My decision is that the clove hitch is appropriate in this case.
  3. Thank you for your interest and very valuable advice...
  4. Hi, I am confused because on the plans Numbers 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 ... belong to the lines coming from sails (running rigging). There is no problem about Numbers 13, 17, 18, 20 ... because there are pins (little circles). Please let me know which way I have to follow. to follow.
  5. Thank you very much... I think this solution: To make a clove hitch, then for the rest of the rope to make a coil. The coil will be tied to the incoming part of the rope to the clove hitch with its end part. I will be thankful to hear that if it's a wrong solution and any other idea...
  6. I need a help... How have I to bind a stretched rope to the handrail (no belaying pins on it)? How must be the shape of the knot? Then how to fix the coil? Thank you...
  7. Perfect as always... Do you replace the ropes (of buoy for example) already tied with the new ones?
  8. What I most appreciate in your modeling technique is that everything is shaping up with a saw, a drill bit, some sandpapers, needles and a few glue drops... No advanced machinery... And impeccable result...
  9. Thank you for kind words and likes... Just a small essay... ( I think that the result is satisfying ) (Diagonal cut of the two edges of the rope after a small drop of CA is important)
  10. Hi Johann, Super work as always... Let me know the meaning of the "thread" in your phrase; "Usually the buoy rope was at least 18 threads long." (18 coils?)
  11. And the new ones... Main, fore, mizzen, main topsail, fore topsail...
  12. During two months I have redone some works. I have changed the 3 mouses of the main, fore and mizzen masts which I had done many years ago. I have done the mouses of the main topsail and fore topsail masts in the same way to provide the uniformity between mouses. I have added a pulley system to the crowfeet of the main and the fore masts. Some shrouds have been done. For now I doesn't fixe any rope for possible future adjustment.
  13. Thank you very much druxey, It was really useful and valuable for me.
  14. Thank you druxey, If I understood correctly, if the lenght of the euphroe is 1 unit, the distance from the front of the crowsnet to the euphroe have to be 1,5 unit.
