    They are still in business but I know that their USA website doesn't have a lot to choose from anymore. I don't why though. The UK site looks to be more robust. They also sell as fanhome but limited choices there also.

    I finally have an update. I finished the first layer of planking. I was just winging it and wasn't really being too careful here as the second layer will cover everything up. I still have a bit of sanding and filling to do to make sure I have a nice smooth surface for the second layer.

    Just water is good enough.

    I think soaking that bulwark for 20 or 30 minutes would be a good idea. You can then clamp it in place and allow it to dry to the correct shape. You can speed up the drying process with a blow dryer. Its hard to tell from the pictures but it doesn't look like you would need to soak the aft, just the bow section.
