This last tranche brings me just about to where I am today but I will post a separate one marking that situation.
Couple of things worth noting. First, not everything has gone smoothly by any means resulting in several re-dos especially with the clamps and breast hook locations. My failing was not appreciating how important it is to find a way to clamp these structures while the glue is setting. So I had to re-do many of them more than once. On the other hand I think I can be considered an expert de-gluer now. Whereas I used to rely heavily on water and alcohol I now exclusively use heat with my heat gun.
A couple of pictures of the bow and stern that I think illustrates the amount of wood that must be faired. Call me crazy but I actually like that part of the build. What remains to be done is the final fairing at the top timber level and a few places where the external planking will meet the stem and stern.

Fashion pieces and filler pieces in. I haven't chiseled, filed or sanded the inside yet. Also I'm going to add bolts since I've decided to leave one side unplanked.

Hi everybody,
I continued with the aft bulkhead, wich separates the captains cabin.
The bulkhead panels and doors were assembled and glued in place, underneath the deck beam. The doors can be opened, but for now, I leave them shut, because of the danger of being damaged. I am not shure yet, I propably leave them closed anyway.
Here are som photos of the result.

Hello Everybody,
I finished the captains cabin rear gallery with the installation of the rudder trunk and the benches. For the small panels between the windows, I made small ebony decoration strips as framing.
First picture is the rudder trunk befor installation:
Here you can see the Captain Sir C. Passaro is giving order for the next work to do
The paneled front of the bench were glued against a curved template, to follow the curved edge of the flooring.
And the finished arrangements:
A little talk after everything is done.

Hello everybody, I made the checker floor for the captains cabin.
I wanted it like on the pictures on the captains cabins:
First thing was to provide the stripes and cut them without breaking them.
Next step was to stick them upside down on a tape.
after that was done, a veneer template, wich had the size of the later flooring was glued to it upside down.
Afterwards the edges were cut and sanded in shape and the surface was polished.
Her you see the flooring on the model:

Yesterday I glued tue transom in position. All looked well. The ivory windows fit is not bad as well.
but today I realised, that I produced a severe problem by not sanding down the outer frames enough.
I don't know how to fix that yet.
I have seen this problem in some other build logs as well, so check that guys, before you glue the transom in position.

The complete set of ivory-windowframes is now clean. But before installing them on the model there is still a lot of planking to do.
