  5. Thanks Dave for your nice comments. The size of the hull, at this scale (1/36), is: Length: 32.5 cm; Width: 9 cm; Height: 7 cm
  6. Very detailed and fine work! It's a good step by step very pleasant to follow. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Platform ceiling and oarsmen's ceiling in place, ready to receive oarsmen footrests and thwarts. Two crossbeams (aft and forward), used to lift the boat (lifting cringles), are also been placed.
  8. By now, I can't return to my Le François model. A member of my family likes a lot models from scratch, so I thought on a small one, a longboat. So, it will be a present for her. Based on Jean Claude Lemineur's monograph: The Ship's longboat, I will make it at 1/36 scale using just pearwood. Of course, I don't forget my previous project: Le François.
  9. Hello Mr Delacroix

Is the 24 prd frigate L'Egyptienne your next monograph? If it's so, in which languages besides French is it going to be published and on what date?
I want to take advantage of the opportunity to congratulate you on your fantastic work about this subject. In fact, I have your last two monographs: L'Amarante and Le Rochefort.
    Best regards from Spain,
    José Bustillo

  10. Hello Mark. I wish you have a fast recovery and continue delighting us with your frigate.
  11. I know I repeat myself, but your work is really fantastic and very inspiring. I love your way of working the metal and, of course, wood. Thanks for this magistral class.
  12. A really impressive work! I don't know if someone made this question before: how did you make the limits between pearwood and ebony on waterline?
  13. Excellent work as usual! I see you have made some modifications on your table saw. I suppose that wood strip is glued on the surface to work as a reference.
