Hi guys, back in December and January, I had a lot of difficulty dealing with Model Shipways in an attempt to get a few replacement items for the Morgan. Needless to say it still is not resolved. I read somewhere in one of the Forums a ple from the owner of MS tht he was assuning the role of taking the company back from previous management and he was welcoming any input or comments - critisizms etc and gave his company email address for comments. I cannot seem to locate that Forum or remember his name. I would like to contact him and forward the many emails I sent to MS during this time to see if he can help me. So, if anyone can please remember his name or how to contact him I would appreciate it. Most of my emails were either ignored or improperly answered which is not what this company is all about and I feel he should know about it. Thanks for the help for myself and anyone else that had similar experiences.

Incredible looking as usual....no wonder this thing capsized with all the drippings on her. Most ornate I think I've ever seen. Nice work as usual.

Looks like your rats have moved in Mate. I like the black and white. I guess the old eyes are in good focus from the looks of her...

    Hi Grant,

A bit further to Mike's suggestion above, I made a couple of simple tools for this kind of work. One is a "push" tool, the other a "pull" tool. They are made from piano wire with wooden dowel handles :

Couple these with some special Needle Threaders for feeding line through Eyebolts and it simplifies things considerably :

    Ho John,

Welcome back in the land of the builders
    She was not feeling lonely.
She was supervising the progress on the Aggy.
A few more days and then she can supervise again.

Thanks for looking in Sjors. I'm posting a few pictures to show some overall progress. I think it's also helping to motivate me to finish her up since I'm so close to the end of this build.

Hi Wayne and Gil, and everyone else. I haven't dropped off the face of the earth yet. I've had a real life project that needed a lot of attention the last 3 weeks or so. I still have some left to do so it might be a bit before the shipyard reopens. I try to keep up with most of you and see your progress. Weather is breaking here it's up to 80 today and tomorrow, don't miss the snow all of you are fighting. Thanks for the picture Gil I'm familiar with their proceedure. That is the stage I'm at right now and will be making chainplates and deadeyes next. I got the blackening process figured out, and that was holding me up from proceeding. I'll be posting things soon. Yes, Piet, the Leffe was on hand to welcome the warm weather.

Hi Piet, I haven't missed following your log. Looks like a real boat. Your "teak" looks quite well, don't let Gwen catch you stripping her furniture....Bent an elbow of good Leffe Blonde to the nice weather...looking forward to seeing that mine...I know you can do it.

Hello John, good to see you getting back to ship building.  Hope everything worked out okay for you regarding your "other then ship building" issues is concerned.  I was ready to call the gendarmes to hunt you down.

I'm hoisting a Leffe for the occasion
