  1. Thanks! Sadly I have moved and had to sell most of it. I’ve only got my ship modelling tools now.
  2. I’m am also building the Sherbourne. I found when I added the false deck piece I didn’t make the fit loose enough. As a result it twisted the frames. I’m not sure if that’s what caused your twist but I thought I’d share. This was the only way I could think of to fix the twist. While glue around all the frames was drying, I held the ship in the vice. I clamped one end and added tension to the rope. Rough, I know, but it worked. I don’t think you’ll be able to use the same method as I did as you already have planks on, unless you take all the planks off which may not be an option.
  3. Log #15: Bulwarks and Wales Pt 2 Inner Bulwarks and spirketting patterns in place. Bulwarks and gun ports are filed flush. I have also weathered/ painted all timber surfaces which looks much better in my opinion.
  4. I haven’t been on MSW that much and had no idea you were building this. All the best with the rest of the build, I’ll be following along. Have you made any progress on your Devin Collins?
  5. Log #14: Bulwarks and wales after moving house and a few months off the Sherbourne I’ve got my modelling setup back with a new desk. Any progress is from before I moved.
  6. I agree Chris, I feel sorry for you putting yourself through this especially trying to please the people who critique things that you need a microscope for.
  7. I just started the second layer planking. I’m using Titebond III and it works really well.
