Very similar - they are both 3-masted extreme clippers. Arrangement of deck furniture is a little different.
FC - 225 ft, built 1851 Boston by McKay
RJ - 251 ft, built 1853 Rockland by Thomas

If you're re-doing the footropes, consider using fine wire. It can be shaped to have realistic curvature. Go to this link and then to post #251

CA glue adheres very well to paint, better than wood glue. Second question: again, CA.

Unfortunately, copying is subject to dimensional errors due to paper humidity content, ambient temperature, etc.

Some people cut off the bulwarks and replace them with1/16" plywood. Personally I think it is easier than trying to thin the carved bulwarks.

And with that, I declare her finished! 2 years, 2 months and 8 days. Of course, I took a couple of months to do a Fishing Trawler, and 4 months to do a whaleboat. But who's counting? I'll post some more photos soon.

As a small update, I am beginning discussions with the absolutely perfect fit for the business. If and when it goes through, I think you will all agree with me. Of course, this process takes several months.
