  2. I so loved these Resin Water's I have a jar I have been using on my Waterloo build (Pond) etc. and seen online how you make a frame and poor your mixture in then when part set oyu place or push in your hull/s. OC.
  3. Thank you Alan, I have never done a sea scape in my life - but I think it will be different - I was thinking of constructing a wooden base but not cover the whole area of it with water - just use the water in the centre and and around both hull parts - putting focus on them that way. OC.
  4. This is the kind of dio I could do - Imagine the main forward section going back just behind the rear most funnel, and sticking up out of the water at this kind of angle - and with the stern going down fast with just this amount showing - with a wake of water between them with wreckage and floating bits on the water. OC.
  5. I have been reading as much info regarding her fatal encounter with Bismarck, and the nature of her destruction and blowing apart, and its kind of made me curious about possibly destroying her and turning her into a Two element as she was when she was blown up - with both the forcastle-mid ship and rear quarter sticking out of a dio of a small area of sea. As a kid I used to make Airfix ships then set fire to them on my old pond and watch them burn (weird) but this destruction would be a different thing. Just an idea going round in my head at the moment. OC.
  6. Hi all, I had another quick look over my kit earlier and think its savable, It wont be 100% as good as it could be - but think when I get back on it I might be able to make it reasonable. I had even considered making it part damaged as she was from her first hits from Bismarck before her fatal blow - she received a shell on her aft boat deck that caused ammo locker fires - but think that might be beyond my skills. I will have to have a think.........Stay Tuned..... OC.
  7. Evening all, more progress - I decided to make Three French men, and Three wondead - they had been made before and just need painting, so my normal routine - primer brushed on, then a basic face/hands coat then hair/facial hair then a wash and soe detail painting. OC.
  8. This is what I call a dio .............😲 OC. http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=23430
  9. Thank you kindly Mark for saying that, I am sure as more and more is added it will reveal itself to tell a story. OC.
  10. Thank you kindly Alan, indeed my heart is in my mouth every time I move it on to the table. OC.
  11. Thank you kindly Edward, I think my restraints now are governed by how much physical space I have. OC.
