  1. Thanks Craig with such a big office area should be able to see this area pretty good in this scale I got Airfix's 1/24 Mossy but I may do another Revell Mustang to keep fun before I go there.
  2. Pics never line up the way I drop them in?Anyway pic #1&2 are the seats with the PE added to dress them some detals the little box goes on the back of the Pilots seat and it looks like maybe a tool box?it gets leather PE handles later, Pics 3&4 are the metal chutes for the ammo feed to waist 50's nothing fancy just two pieces of styrene glued to together giving that middle seam I wanted that. Pics 5,6&7 is the IP scraped down getting ready big improvement with the PE rudders and 6&7 show the throttle quadrant under construction as well as the IP .I still have to add PE to the floor in the silver section and finish the IP and Quad then we go to the walls a few bits there.I am thinking of using HGW belts anyone ever used them before?I usually Radu belts I used my last set for the P-51. Kevin
  3. Cool Glad to see that I love iron sights for the same reasons I use to be able to make a can dance in under a 100yds with the M1 carbine all I use was the front sight.I have a carbine built by Jerry Kuhnhausen on a commercial Springfield Armory receiver(never made production) all else is GI parts nice shooter better than my 44 Inland. Kevin
  4. I have heard of this stuff never used it myself and I trust CD that's the trusty 1.0s in the background? I do not wear glasses any other time but reading and the shop can still plug a 3" circle @100yds open sights and a good barrel. Kevin(hearing sucks)
  5. I had heard this was a Nice Kit and by the looks of the instructions lots of little bits.I have to agree on some of the PE and why we even go all out on interiors we will never see again once closed? To be more intimate in or knowledge of said A/C maybe sometimes it's fun.Lou is talking in his thread we go to far with our details when really probably 60% of my builds are OOB and what I what to look right is the paint.I will keep an eye on this one with a couple others starting. Kevin
  6. It is Mark makes one think these guys are in film or could be? Kevin
  7. Well by Gawd I never would of expected that action Craig Semper Fi Kevin
  8. I like it Me I don't know trophy's?I can see my progression over the years it's tough to say .I have never thought I had anything somebody would want maybe I am wrong? love your work and the pace! keep it Rock and Roll!!!
  9. You can crank them out Craig she's looking good the decals and stencils will add some more colors.Seriously one day when the camera is out I would enjoy a peek at the built stash Kevin
  10. I would not doubt that probably depending of the air defense's there and back the deeper you go the more you carry? Kevin
  11. They had tracks the belt fed through the waist gunner is the same way I am making the chutes now out of some styrene now nothing fancy a representation. Kevin
  12. I was going through the book to learn the location of the cans for the waist gunners position a can holds 200rds of 50 cal. Kevin
  13. I have the tailgunner position installed and did up internal nad external hatches for boarding the plane about 5hrs of work in those 4 hatches with the drop down hatch has 17 pieces each. Kevin
  14. Sorry for the loss Craig that era made some great Men and Women alike. Kevin
  15. I like these bird projects Kevin
  16. So this diorama I take it you will add the green grass mat with shrubs/trees/weeds?To what scale does it work out to?this looks to be a long build. Kevin
  17. I read a book years ago about the KG-200 very interesting read looking forward to more of the build Denis. Kevin
  18. One -to- One -to- One you are a factory CD going to be another Nice Build! You need to show that cabinet one day Kevin
  19. Cool Yves!! I do a black base at times usually larger scales like the B-25 build up light coats of paint makes the recess darker/shadow. Kevin
  20. It and 1/24 are really the main ones I play in anymore if I happen to have an old 1/48 with the goodies I will use it otherwise OOB for me.This B-25 has been on the back burner for to long but it's going to force me into the other side of the shop to finish 1/2 cabinets planned. Kevin
  21. 643mm about 26".Got six cans built with holders still got to add straps.Denis I p/u the Airfix 1/72 RAF B-25 looks to be a Nice Kit
  22. Rock-n-Roll looks awesome seen that scheme before .......... Kevin
  23. I keep plodding along on this one the book helped with the Bendix turret some PE parts was for the footrest once I knew that pretty much knew the position.I got the front hatch entry installed dirty a bit I think Eduard wanted me to saw off the original then install there's leaving the open hole hence the reason for the wash. The tailgunner station is just about complete doing ammo boxes now much like the nose boxes(5X).I am getting close to doing the Copit before long still alittle more work in the turret area. Thanks for looking in this build has been hoot! Kevin
  24. I hope I get the same resultz when I get into the Roden kit... If you go the oils it can be done I tried with prop doing the same thing with enamels it dried to quick had to repaint Kevin
