Hi Patrick, thank you.

it happens that black colour was too glossy and copper red too matt.

So I used a transparent matt to have the same effect on both colours.

Furthermore, actual new ships were not completely matt but a little bit glossy (See for example Bluenose II).

Nice paint job.  If it is a bit glossy leave it alone.  Since you are going the yacht route that is the way it should look.  Beautiful work.

Bow scroll painted with 0.7 yellow marker.

Could be better, but I'm satisfied. Or not?

The steering wheel, from a brass blind nut (Why waste money for a expensive 1m, 12mm DIA bar?).

Hi Patrick,

I used the UNI-POSCA yellow marker extra fine:

Hi David,

I applied a round 2mm wooden rod with adesive strip along the line track.

The marker followed this track!

Then I removed the 2mm rod.

Hi all. 15 days to prepare fife rails and bitts!

This is the second attempt. I think is okay: made from a 1mm brass sheet.

The first one was made of 1 mm ply: too weak!!

Ciao,

Giorgio
