I was wondering what Grant means with the smiley…..

Yep, the light bal was going bright.

I can tell everybody that the bowsprit fits but it is better to show it WITH the bowsprit.

So here they are.

Hi John ,Wayne and Popeye,

I don't know if the bowsprit has his length, I just take a piece of wood that has to go there.

I have to make it at the real size…..

@Popeye,

Why are you standing?

I saved a arm chair for you……when you get bored you can sleep in it.

I know you are busy with all those builds.

When you are coming from time to time, it's ok by me  :)

Hello Vince,

We bought our Dremel workbench at our local hardware store.  It's really handy.

I'm sure you will be able to find/buy it in the USA.

Just search for the EAN code: 8710364046584

Good luck and take care,

Anja

Hi Ben,

Later today there is an little update.

I was working the whole weekend, so not much building time.

But I could do some thing :-)

So here is the update.

I have make the frames on the bow for the gratings.

It's difficult to hold it in position because there is not much place.

The little wood you see on the hull has also to go on the to little frames that you see below them.

That's for today.

And of course they need some paint.

Hi Sjors,

Am very curious to see the end result with the gratings. I search Internet how these should look like, but couldnot find it, so I wait for completion by you.

What I found on internet could be of interest to you, namely the complete list of commanders, officers and service record.

Here is the link: http://3decks.pbworks.com/w/page/915106/HCMS%20San%20Ildefonso%20(1785)

Hello John,

It have a copy wright so everybody who want to see it has to click on the link…..

Then your question about the grating.

I have make a picture of the plans.

It should be like this, but I change it a little and paint it black ( not the gratings).

Wow! First of all, after looking at the boxes of parts, I was quite intimidated. I guess any novice would be.

You're build is VERY IMPRESSIVE.

Will be watching your progress.

Hi Mikki,

Don't get intimidated by all those boxes.

Normally it comes in one box but this is a members sale from OcCre

Thanks for dropping by.

Teak a seat and enjoy  :)
