I’ve bought some tools, nothing expensive, at local stores.. Glue, sandpaper, basic stuff.. I really recommend to start this hobby. Any question you have just ask and someone gives you an advice. I started a build log here because I wanted to document everything, things I did wrong, bad materials, products.. Enjoy! Regarding the buccaneer, I’m planning to buy the San Juan from occre instead. I don't mind, this way I'll have another build log to check on during my build You're model looks nice. I would take away some more material at the stern where you have to fit the stern post. If you keep it like this, it'll look a bit strange, I think. I removed all the nails next to the sternpost, it was the best thing i did. Now i understand why some people just use the nails to secure the strips in place. I need to glue the bulwarks at the back.
