Hello from France

Hello everyone from France,
I discovered this forum while looking at the LIBERTO ST model.
I am new to model making, my first boat was the Cutty Sark from Artesania Latina at 1/84.
I start the Santisima Trinidad Occre at 1/90. Not easy this one.
I hope to find on this forum ideas and advice.
Thanks in advance.
Forgive my not very good English😊

Welcome to MSW from the UK!

The models look very nice, will we see a build log?

I was thinking of the Santisima Trinidad, a very impressive subject. Of course it is up to you but this is a subject that is not often covered on MSW.

With 130 guns and a veteran of Trafalgar, sounds good to me.

May I suggest you post a message in New Member Introductions?

Welcome aboard.  You've found a very supportive community of modelers who enjoy sharing their work and helping others to learn the art of wooden model ship building.  From the look of your work, I believe you'll be the one giving advice.  Look forward to seeing a build log of the ship in progress.

Take care and be safe.

Thanks Peanut for that kind word.
You shouldn't look too closely at the Cutty Sark, the hull planking is poorly made and I didn't put all the rigging on. I'm learning to be patient.
I went too fast on the CS. I didn't know all the techniques. Maid thanks to the forums, it's getting better.
The Frenchie is not yet run in😄

Best regard.

Bienvenu! Beautiful work… and your English is far better than my French 😄

By coincidence I was at the Museo Naval in Madrid earlier today, and took about 20 reference photos of the beautiful large-scale model of Santissima Trinidad built by Felíx Moreno Sorli between 1990-2000. If it would be helpful to you, please send me a message and I will email them. And if anyone else is interested I can also post them here on the forum.

Bonjour et bienvenue sur le forum. Ce navire ressemble à une tâche monstre pour moi, mais je suis ici en tant que débutant complet.

Bonne chance et que le vent gonfle vos voiles!
