I couldn’t wait to get that boat off that build board to see the inside. She look great!

Thanks, though I see all the imperfections. But, I remember an old Navaho woman once telling me that only the gods are perfect so we must place imperfections in our art work so as not to offend them.

Creating that rolling bevel was probably the hardest thing for me to do on the Dory.  The strakes are so thin that it is definitely quite a challenge.

 I didn't go back far enough on the planks. But everything is secure and I'll remember it for the next model. There is a lot more forgiveness in the build process than I anticipated.

One can re-wet the area of the starboard bow and mold the plank back to shape. To level the sheer, consider ungluing the bow end of the plank and regluing in correct alignment.

Looks like necessity was mothering another 'invention.' I assume the saw served as a counter weight to the clamps, correct?

 

Modelers always find a way to solve a problem.
