Here, the beginning of my new project, the 64 guns Le Fleuron 1729 - scale 1/72 - French warship from Delacroix monograph

 

it is a 1/72 construction based on the plans of Gérard Delacroix, A.N.C.R.E. Ed, that I will carry on without framework,

indeed, despite the last progress of gerontology, my age encourages me to avoid works lasting 10 years or more

It's beautiful. Which type of wood did you use?

I used the well known pear wood for the hull, following the author's recommandation about that question

I like the color. I am doing a Chebec using cherry wood and the color is similar to that one, just more pale.
