Popeye said - "I gotta get normal again ;)"

NNNNnnooooooooo!

Normal is not allowed.

Wow, I miss a day and look at the progress. More Great bashing.

Seeing them finish is like that last day of vacation feeling. Luckily you'll have more eye candy for all the addicts you've created.

BTW, I was at the post office and saw Popeye picture in the most wanted section, he is wanted for luring unsuspecting ship builders into manic kit bashing. It stated he was to be considered armed (with great ideas) and dangerous. Do not try to subdue, he is been known to weather and distress victims with callus disregard for rules or authority. Considered unpredictable and highly innovative, proceed with caution.

It may be the same Popeye, he fits the desciption.

Great Job, oh master basher. Its been twice the fun of the ride on the M&M fun ship. The weathering on Denny is pure Zen and Phylly C is one elegant lady.

easy song to play too........it's just the A and B chords  The admiral hates it when I play it..........hee....hee!  {the bridge is just a technique called tapping}

Just dont go cutting anything into little bitty pieces...

and Careful with that Axe Eugene, you dont want the Acquisition Director in a foul mood. Future orders must not cease. I'd say, a trip to Ibiza bar until she's Comfortably numb and floating on a A Pillow of Winds. Once she's Obscured by Clouds, The Final Cut will never happen which is important as Childhood End can't happen. (for our sake)...and Green is the Colour of her kind, Quickness of the eye deceives the mind. Many is the bond between the hopefull and the damned.... (was I talking Floydian again, opps)

I'm wondering about the "normal" comment also.     You've done a fantastic job on both of these Denis.  Think about how they would have come out if you were anyone but you?  :o  :o  :o   The details make them look like two totally different boats from different kits.  Wonderful work... just wonderful.

Just a tidbit of PF trivia. Douglas Adams named the Division Bell. He and Gilmour were friends. IIRC Gilmour paid for the name with a charity donation in Adams name..

Great set of books, I love my Sci-Fi.

Popeye,

If you were to go “normal” the joy would be gone and I might as well put on my bathrobe and hop the next passing spaceship.

Dont forget the Towel though Cap'n'Bob.

By the way, Towel day is next month - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towel_Day

of course I'm sure everyone celebrated Pi day last month. I use to have students bring pie for extra credit and I'd supply the ice cream. One of my students' gram'ma's made the best blueberry pie, always my favorite.

and in Oct there was always mole day cupcakes. One must always find any excuse to celebrate :dancetl6:

Ah here's the quote - Popeye you'd better make sure the twins have towels... as your clearly a buildeer to be reckoned with...

"A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value - you can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a mini raft down the slow heavy river Moth; wet it for use in hand-to- hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (a mindboggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you - daft as a bush, but very ravenous); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.

More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with."

oh.....my father......strict.......very strict...........he taught me how to swim.  yea.....used to row me out to the middle of the lake and would throw me overboard.     .........I had to swim back to shore..........it was easy once I got outta the bag!

I got a million of 'em.........yea!   Sjors!  {snap fingers}  more popcorn pleeze!  {what am I say'in!!!!!!!}    yes Sjors......aside from the skis,  both of them are finished :)   Once I get the skis in place,  I'll do some gallery pictures.   I've done a little bit with the America....I hope to have an update soon.  again......don't worry folks........cuz I'm a w-i-l-d and c-r-a-z-y guy!!!!!  {errrrr....when the admiral isn't looking}   if she starts to get wind of it.......I just give 'er those eyes.......and remind her about the 25 years............and she once again reminds me......that time wasn't THAT good to me ;)

I still need to finish Hitch Hikers.  What I read was hilarious I don't know why I stopped.  Ido think though Popeye the off the wall humor would be right up your alley.

You are to late……...

Andy and Jim.

I hate to disappoint you but I hear of those things….

It's about Arthur Dent who's lying in the front of his house to avoid demolition.

And a guy Ford lives on a planet that called Betelgues.

Zaphod is the president of the Galaxy  :P
