Ok Sjors, here is how the lady looks like today.

Getting close to the rigging now.. Will be replacing the rigging rope with a better type.  :)

A few more details on the deck, and i will be good to go. :)

Hello Børge

I must say I just found your log and I'm absoloutely amazed at your mad metal working skills. The metal detailing makes an already beautiful craft, an even more beautiful model representation. I'm sure I'll be looking your log over several more times as each repeat through it I see new detail. You are a truely gifted artisan and thank you for sharing your build. I find that seeing what others can achieve, to be such an great inspiration for me to attempt to achieve more myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

Borge, you're building a model of the yacht that, ever since I started sailing/canoeing sixty-something years ago, I've regarded as the most sleek, most beautiful little craft there's ever been!

And you're doing it beautifully!

Will you be putting sails on this exquisite model?

Hi Brian, and thanks for thoose nice words.

Yes, she will have sails, they are already made, i hope during next week to start the rigging, and install of the sails.

I am just as exited as you to se how the Dragon will look when fully rigged, and ready for the "maiden voyage" :)

I soon have to look into the making of a displaycase so i can put her on display i our livingroom.

Rainy day today :)

We were at at dogshow today, it was wet.... :)

spendt some time in the shipyard this evening, was inspired of Augies new Cannons..

Figured i would try to make one in Brass, i got to fine tune the turning steel for this kind of job

i was a bit rough finish, but its possible :)

You newer know, there could be modern pirates lurking around  :)

Nothing like a iron ball flying over the head to scare them off .... ;)

I did this just for fun, maybe i can replace the cannons for the USS Constitution when i get that far...
