All looks very nice, Mark. Good process thinking on your run of moldings as well. Hdd you considered painting friezes on paper off-model and gluing them on in sections? Many contemporary models were painted this way. It obviates the need for awkward masking or working against gravity. And, if you mess up a piece, it's easily replaced. The friezework on Comet was done this way:
Wow fantastic painting Druxey, true artist at work!

A RESTART! very good now I can watch from the beginning, Yahoo! Did you have the plans printed up at kinks or did you do at home? I think several copies of pages 3 & 4 would also be a good idea.

with work like that its got to be worth making a bell rope
Interesting tutorial! Which reminds me that when in USN i was assigned Tug Boat duty. The boat captain for the boat I was on did not like tire fenders with rope knotted on and draping down so he had us making road fenders in a similar manner as the bell rope with out the taper and fancy knots. Thank you for this post, old memories abound!

I think masters doing card models are exquisite and well done. Question is will card models hold up to the elements that wood provides?

Bruce, thanks for the encouragement, I am trying hard, doing all the required Pt exercises and then some. I don't have to stand to build, just have access. Yes I would love to follow along with your Mediator. Can you send me the link? I am using my phone to access the site! It will be awhile before I get to my
computers.

Well life sure gets in the way! I definitely got side tracked for quite sometime and now find myself recuperating from lower left leg amputation, it like it will be a long time before I ever get back to the triton build. Sorry guys, perhaps I can change my name from the learner to "peg leg"

Yes Greg the tops definitely look better this way and I cannot wait until you apply David's carvings.
When you say Chuck did the tops for you are they cut in one piece or many pieces to be built up? like his blocks etc??

Fantastic start on a new kit, POF from a master builder. I would like to put my name on the list for one when you start production! I promise not to tell my wife until it's on my bench. hehe....
