The US Army had them as well, The M2A2 & A3 Light Tanks, they originally had the Vickers suspension until it proved unsatisfactory...
They were known as the Mae West Tank.... (For obvious reasons) {chuckle}
Indeed.
The Vickers idea can be considered a distant ancestor of the M2, M3 and later M5 family
Mirage has a whole family

There seems to be an alternate turret base plate, an extra part for the second turret (only one turret has the part - unsure what it is) and a souple of idler wheels that don't seem to fit anywhere.
These Vickers (and derivative) models were in service in many different countries with many variations and modifications.

Tie the sails to the yards, attempt 3..
I didn't like attempt 2. So did everything again for the 3rd and "last" time.
Different rope and fewer attachments to the yard. Main and fore sail 2 times round yard as the rest 1 time. The result is a simplified version of the example in the Mary Rose book.
working method :
Rope around the yard
Knot on the yard (I worked with a series of 5)
CA gel ont the (yard) knot. And the rope ends are held down
cut off
Result, By pushing the rope ends down until the CA gel has cured, hang these neatly towards the deck
Some work in progress pictures
All ready
Thanks for folowing,comments and likes.

Now I have again some time for modelling
So it is true that people who are retired have little free time for themselves 😉
Very nice work on the model and the warehouse.

5mm on this scale is wide.
But there are no strict rules
For deck planking in this era.
-
What is "too big"
What are the dimensions of the planks?
-
Nice start.
Are there something such as filler blocks on the bow?
This will make planking here easier.

Bogie time 😉
I have to make 40 of them 😱
The wheel press tool
Dry test fit on the orignal resin model
The 4 weasels with the extra float tanks will have side skirts. The running gear will therefore be little visible later on.
So I do these 4 first to practice.1 side done (will probably need some extra details)
A cannon, almost finished

This drawing comes from this book
When it came out this must have been a fantastic book.
I have this book too. But with the current information available, this book is no longer recommended ( in my opinion)Cannons on the main deck are possible. But only light calibers on this relatively small ship
