Now a dryfit. It all goes down IK, the tripod mast needs some work on angle yet. I want to now get into hull weathering before I progress any further.

Well that’s the flying deck done, I’ve added a few little figures for detail but you’ll never see them.

Next is the flying deck, ten 12 pounders, a couple of search lights. The 3D guns are gun out of this world

You can see the 12 pounders on the cannons, this is the Micromaster replacements. There are a lot of these in the ship

So today from New Zealand, the Micromaster fit out part 2. Ships boats!

Like the Zeppelin I did over the Seydltz, I want to airbrush in the panels

Whilst I’m waiting on the masking tape, thought I’d make a start in part 2 of this build 

So my 8mm tape won’t arrive until after Xmas. Bugger. Anyways, threw the ships barges together and masked the rear end of the hull. 

So 10mm tape? Nope, I think I need 8mm 

I reckon I can do it Pat! Your lessons have served me well 

So using my mule, I’m trying to figure how how to do the dazzle pattern. One thing for someone on a computer, another for a mutt like me 

 It’s about getting the angles right, so each square seems to be about 10mm which would make sense as it’s a digital render. I need to get some 10mm Tamiya masking tape (it’s the best tape as it doesn’t bleed) and I should be good to go. As I’m on nightshift this week I can’t get to the store unfortunately
