    Hi so, am started the planking of the inner bulwarks Using some wood inside the gunports and sweep ports than plank around , it works well I finish the stern planks and started to paint it red using artist paint from winsor and newton (the cooler crimson) All the planks is castello boxvood Svein.erik

    Hi, thanks for the likes 😊 Am finish the hull planking and I also painted the hull black where the water line is, wel a little bit down the inner bulwarks is Soon coming on board😊 Svein.erik

    Hi again, yust another task has been dunn the cap rails , for this I used 1/4×1/16 castello boxvood it was wery easy task , soak it in warm water for about 90 minuts and started to lay the strip on top,strig it and bend it around The boxwood strip is in exelent condison 😊

    Thanks for the liks everyone 😄 Am keeping on running, A have know faring the inner bulwarks and some planking at the stern, I will wait with the rest planks so I can make the hole for the rudder. I do have also the 7 last planks on portside to finish To faring the inner hull I used 3 pises of tools , easy peasy 😊 Svein.erik

    Thanks everyone for the likes I did finish the starboard hull planking , I did some mistakes here erlier my tappering was not enuff at the start, so I got a problem with the last 7 planks but I did get the 7 planks inn tappering to half a with I have to take the garboard plank more aft then I was thinking so its not perfekt but close and the hull is getting copper plates later 😊 Svein.erik

    Thanks Thomas I do Not know how it wil look wen painted I yust resive it to day, I also noted that the slegde is to wide back and a little to long (ref.plans) I have mail them and sendt photo of the items and the plans, they are already responding so I have to see wat the wil do with this problem☺ Svein.erik

    Hi everyone, I did resive corronades from shapeways to use on the syren, but I did order the hole set with the sledge in 1:64 scale but it Seems to me that the sledge is to big but the corronades is in scale so I need to send a mail☺ price is 54 dollar vs 181 from cornwall Svein.erik

    Thanks again for all the likes 😊 am know making the " chuck jig" for stamping copper plates this is my first 😲 but am not happy with it, so I plased an maby order to a stamping company to make this in metal 😊 metal stamp

    Thanks for the coment , as I did this hum#**/&%+...... 😲 am thinking of using a drop plank to do the task here and take this with me on the nex build as the syren get's the copper plates it vil not been seen Svein.erik

    Thanks for the liks but Huston, I have a problem😲 I think I did some wrong with the planking, its Seems to me it going to get to narrow there is 7 planks to fitt in there (about 2mm at the stem) So do I take all the basswood strip off ore just leave it? Svein.erik

    Yust got this from ME and am going to glue some sandpaper in the side of the notches then run true the basswood so it is even 1/8 before I glue it to the model Svein.erik

    Thanks for all the likes again, it keeps me going😆 but I did need some more lights so I Whent to IKEA to get some stuff and built it know I have 3500 LM all over the model good light is half work😊 Svein.erik

    Hi again and thanks for the liks the summer is here So I have work to do outside the shipyard (yust to keep my wife happy😉) But I did finish the 2 belts with boxvood and its time to get over to use basswood am over the critical point at the stern, The black paint wil have castello boxvood, I my have overdue this but Wats fun in that 😆 Svein.erik
