    Very good job Peter. I tried to build Santa Maria last year as well. You can check if you want. May i ask which method you are using for tapering the strips at the bow? Do you cut or sand them? Thanks.

    I am trying to do the planking correctly

    Planking goes on. The planking takes time because i am using only white glue and i have to taper both tips of each plank and have to soak them to bend. The magohany is a brittle wood and we need to be carefuly while bending it.

    i have started hull planking. I am bending the planks with the help of hot water and a suitable glass.
