  3. Great job, Glen! Hey, in the illustration you're using as a build guide a figure is seated on something at the bow, is that something you'll try replicating and also the doghouse between the mast?
  4. Harvey, sorry to hear about the king post. I've done somewhat the same thing, pride before the fall and all that. I suggest chucking the dowel for the mast into a hand drill. It works well but beware, a drill used for turning will suffer earlier failure than had it been used for just drilling holes. I smoked mine after a couple of years using as a lathe. You're doing a lovely job.
  5. I love the romance of biplanes, for myself, monoplanes has never had the same fascination and allure. 'Kite' was an apt description for those early aircraft.
  6. It's been awhile since I followed along with one of your builds, Chris. Looking forward to the journey.
  7. Helge, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  8. Of course........ *Keith dope slaps forehead.
  9. I couldn't get past the outer deck edges hinged to the hulls and all three acting in unison with one another. Close to falling asleep last night I thought that the deck required three hinges, the two at the outer edges and one in the center.
  10. I love the last photo, it appears an absurdly large coin has drifted into the work area.
  11. A bit sketchy to say the least. For example the 1:100 Mantua Amerigo Vespucci model is normally $400.00 plus but they're selling it for 95.99 pounds. I didn't play with adding the kit to a cart and seeing what shipping cost are. I think the old saw 'if something seems too good to be true, it probably is' applies. https://www.shipmodelshop-store.com/amerigo-vespucci-ship-model-kit-mantua-models-799/ Rich, welcome to MSW. I wish you the best in search of a kit. Glad to have you aboard.
  12. Looks fantastic, Glen. Would you please post a photo of the whole collapsed together as would be the case for passing through the bottle neck. I'm having a hard time imagining the hulls and deck structure hinging in unison, TY.
  13. Dan, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  14. Sorry to hear you came down with Covid, Pat. Wishing you a speedy recovery back to full strength.
  15. I've raised chickens, they're not all that bright. I'm having a difficult time understanding why this would ever have become a problem in the first place. That picture Glen posted of them sitting on the carts, hell they're already in the production line albeit at the end but never the less. Splain to me, Lucy.
  16. Grant, surely the Bovquin found on the Hawaiian Island Mooey Mooey can be allowed.
  17. When dealing with unexplainable phenomena I turn to Professor Maximus.
  18. Nils, I came across this eBay listing I found interesting. The plate attachment is nicely done but sadly the hull shape is a bit whack. I've included the listing where all the photos can be viewed. They're pretty crummy and it's almost impossible to see the inside of the hull. https://www.ebay.com/itm/145312092622?hash=item21d54691ce:g:k-QAAOSwH4ZlCid7&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8L8iKR6lE2Uf59SNQgTXtLrvv5KV8QrnXgchXEtJoOe%2FI4o9cVa6cv1vDgPi0PPJ6ERWXpo%2BVRnvdTwbtm41Y8P5fTryRrY1rbMptsS7dnvVhJ9QMWCsDy5O2mJgwNNiHUkTtlhUgEmqfPBKvRKykAd0R%2BLpozgKLYjUX5UKvMmhMSltddaq%2Fx24JzDMEH60dzLd9AL0HON69aSdKY9ALaSnSdipQUGPZm39fv9%2FlrjoX7lmTSHbrjkNDOPk%2FKPknmY0MW18821sEtrCa3%2B03NO76KFgHYkEoK6ViRwQS5m5Jne1W%2FdKAW2adSe0ugNE7Q%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBM5sL5yoFj
