I've known about the difference in speed from inboard to outboard and that may solve a few problems. But for my needs it still doesn't handle most of the issues that a variable speed sander would. Don't get me wrong....I own the Byrnes sander and I love it. His tools are by FAR the best...Moab

Google Vanda-lay industry. They make a range of accessories that are used with Dremel tools...Moab

If you have the space it would be great to have one sander using a rough grit for hogging material and fit the Byrnes with a fine finishing grit.
I know “nothing” about motors so can someone explain why the Byrnes sander can’t be made with a different motor that will allow variable speeds?...Moab

Has anyone used Vanda-lay tools and if so what were the results? Any other info is appreciated...Moab

If I’m using acrylic paint are there any recipes for thinning (eg. paint, water, retarder) or is it basically trying various options...Moab

I’m not an expert painter. I use thinned acrylics and brushes. The info from Vaddoc has been VERY HELPFUL. I think I may over thin the paint but I’m finally getting very good results. It takes several extra coats (5-6) but the results are great...Moab

I think by glueing the stanchions when did was the best way to do it. It would have saved me some time and aggrevation. Your build is looking excellent. The photos are very helpful.... I wish I had seen them before I started. Thank you for the build...Moab
