Javier; as usual your craftsmanship is outstanding!!! How the heck can you do all this so quickly? Have you ever tracked the time it takes to build these incredibly beautiful models? You inspired me to try making one of these (Alghero) and I'm working on my third hull trying to get it right. I don't claim to be a good model maker but perhaps I'll get an acceptable hull by Christmas. Thank you for posting these builds....Moab

Y.T....I went on Lee Valley's website to spend some $$$ and the vice is out of stock. Incredibly it indicated it would be available December 4th....Moab

I'll also vote for the Starrett. Beautifully made, accurate and lives up to the Starrett reputation...Moab

I agree... the web site is bad. At first I thought this "hand cranked" sander was not for me. But when I thought about the types of sanding I do I began to think I could use this product. My "shop" is 6' x 12' and doubles as our office. With my current electric sander dust collection is a problem. Also some of my sanding needs are minor angle changes or touch ups so a hand cranked sander would work well. I also like the way angles can be adjusted. One downside (I think) is the inability to make compound angle cuts because the table isn't adjustable. ( I need to recheck the web site to check out the deck.)...Moab

I read the comments above about the Vanda-Lay Acra-Mill Plus which were very helpful. I have limited space and already have a MicroMark drill press which handles my drilling requirements. I scratch build smaller ships/boats (1:100 +-). My "workshop" space is very limited. Anyone have any additional comments about this mill?...Moab
