Hi
Nice build, but it seems to me that
you have got the rudder hinges the wrong way round.
The top hinge should have the hole on it, and the stem part that goes into the hole should be at the bottom.
Hope you don't mind me pointing this out to you.
Denis.

Hi John
The canoes are all carved and the eyes on the bow had a shell in them.
I have not seen a Waka canoe that was painted if they had paint on them it was very little.
They was made out of some sort of hard wood,
The black, red and white is the Maori flag.

Thank you Dave and popey2sea. You have been very helpfull indeed. Now its very clear to me what is a "knight" and what it does.
As I wrote to Andy my kit plans dont include the knight into the the rigging. It just sits there, witout any rigging. But I want to include it in the ships rigging in someway... maybe just to riggied it.
Do you have any pictures I could look at.
Thx again.for your help guys
Christos
Hi Messis
Why don't you make the knight your self it is not that hard.

When mounting the yardarms I'll normally drill and glue a pin to the back side of the yardarm then drill a hole into the mast to receive the pin. I don't think just a spot of glue will hold it for very long
Hi Don
I did the same as you with my SOS and they are still in place.
If you don't trust CA then mix a bit of two pot glue up.

Hi fellow model builders
You may be wondering why I have not updated my logs.
Well shortly after moving into a new house I was taken ill, well ill is not the correct word to use.
I should say my health went down hill very fast.
I was rushed to hospital and had a catheter inserted, now find it hard to walk and lift things.
To keep this short my liver and kidneys are in a very bad way.
The hospital is waiting to see if my kidneys improve before they do an operation.
At this stage it looks like they will not do the operation.
What happens next, well I don't know.
Life goes on.

Hi I was going to say the same myself.
Also the life boat is the same.
Another build has done the same thing that I pointed out to him.
