If I understand you right then it was not a good idea to put varnish on the paint….. Even it is clear varnish……. It is better to paint it again with matt black paint? Sjors

Lovely that you put everything back. And all those details,wonderful! Question, What is the size of the cutter that is used to make the samson post? I have to buy a lathe otherwise it's not possible to make those samson posts….. Maybe I can get one for my birthday from Anja……. Sjors -
Glad that I can make you happy with a bus Augie @ Garward, Thanks for dropping in. I want to put decals on the side of the head rails. I try to paint it with a gold colour but it looks if I'm drunk…... I have to ask Popeye what he is using for his decals. Sjors

Hi all and thanks , @ Wim, I re-place the gratings before the bowsprit goes on it. @Aldo, It was really tricky to get those head rails on. I said a few words like #^%$@&(*%^$# But they are on now. Don't rush with Peggy, she comes together! @ Patrick, I'll do my best….. @ Grant, I re-place the gratings but first I have to see how many are left when I have done the other gratings. Before I go further on the bow, it will be done. And for you I change the avatar. I see that you can use the animaatjes? Lovely bus Sjors

Beside all the fun we have there is also building time. So I work on the bow. I have to see if I can make some decals for the side. I try it with paint but that was looking bad…... So paint it black again. I'm also not happy with the gratings but for now it has to be it this way. When I make all the gratings I have to see what I have left and then change it. Then of course a few pictures. Sjors

It's not only us Jared, You also have Frederica & Vasilias and You and Sarah and then we of course. It's nice when the better half also loves building. No we can go to the ships without something like……Are you going again upstairs ( or where you have your build )? Sjors

Hi Jared ( and Sarah, I know you read this to) Anja (my wife) told me that you also has a build log so I bring you a visit…... It looks good. The weathering of the deck turn out nicely. The planking is not bad. When you close the hull, you can sand it smooth (with filler) That should be no problem. I will follow your progress. Sjors
