Omega1234 reacted to reklein in SS Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse 1897 by Mirabell61 - FINISHED - scale 1:144 - POF - first German four stacker of the Norddeutscher Lloyd line
Nils, I built that model 18 years ago, Give me a day our two and I'll see what I can dig up. The guy I built it for has passed away since about 5 yrs ago and I don't know where the model went. He was autistic and quite the titanic enthusiast. I'm sure the model exist I just don't know where. Bill

Could it be that this Japanise Boxwood is the source for boxwood lumber? Just looking at the nice big fat trunk and branches.

I'm with Nigel.. the "like" is for support and I too hope the antibiotics help.
My firewood is in place as I order in late May/early June and it sits in the sun all summer and dries.
Nice work on the deckhouses.... I hope all things work out for the better with you and your mother-in-law.

I just realized I had not posted the completed port side ratlines.
The Masters Comission was canceled for this year. My whole year was planned around that, I even canceled my college app to go. Now I have nothing planned for the next year so I decided to apply for the National guard instead. I am going to take the ASVAB Wednesday.

Ornaments by nature are thin glass due the weight. To heavy an ornament and the branch sags. This is going to be impressive and amazing to watch.. I'm curious about you did it, Jesse.

Hi Vaddoc
I reckon you're taking to soldering the metalwork like a duck to water. Another great skill to have that's for sure.
Nicely done!

Hi Jesse
Yikes! Thin glass must be an OHS nightmare for you. Gloves must be close at hand for you, I'm sure.
Good luck!

Just curious.

Hi everyone and many, many thanks for your best wishes. Thanks especially to Michael, Crackers, Greg and Greg (DVM27), for your recent messages of support!
Well, I'm back!!! Got discharged a couple of hours ago. The surgeon found even more of the little buggers (which didn't appear on the CAT Scans or X-rays) and he was able to get rid of all of them. Thank God.
Incidentally, Greg's comment about the pain being worse than childbirth was verified by the nurse who wheeled me into the operating room. She said that she felt for me because the pain was indeed worse than childbirth! How did she know? Well, she was pregnant at the same time as having kidney stones!!! If anyone could verify such a comparative statement, I reckon she was uniquely qualified to do so.
Anyhow, the recovery process has started and I hope to be back on deck in a few days.
Thanks everyone for all of your support and best wishes.
Patrick
