    Its great following you on this build greg, as its not to dissimilar to my Warspite build, some similar building skills on the two ships I would think. (I will try to get back on her after my tub is done) OC.

    The veggie was a joke mate, I love my meat but dont mind salad sometimes when the weather is nice like now, nothing else on the tub im affraid, she is sitting on the table looking lost and alone, but to be honest its a "bad weather" job at the moment too much nice weather keeping me away from her. OC.

    Apparently throwing popcorn or other snacks at him slows him down, as he cant duck and build at same time. OC.

    Thank you for that kevin, I will be detailing the sail, using a fine 1mm strip of wood to act ask a gude to score in and simulate some of the tiles. OC.

    I had thought about scraping them in using a wood strip to guide and one of my sharp knives, but after reading Kevins post I will have to re think this. OC.

    I havn't really been able to concentrate on my build over the last couple of days, but earlier I came across a plan that shows some quite decent details, one area I have decided to work on is the section panel lines, these are the hull frames and with a slight drag of my scalpel blade against a wood frame, I should be able to create some subtle detail. Here is the plan. OC.

    Im not 100% sure carl, it mentions it even in a kit review here - http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/ships/hms/dd/eskimo-350-tsm/tsm-review.html I am sure that other model makers have said the lack of sheer follows for most of the RN ww2 Destroyers, please foregive me if I am wrong, I have never built one and just quoted what I have read. OC.

    This is one of the references to the sheer I have found its a diagram that shows it, OC.

    I think I read about it on one of our fellow build sites where someone compaired the plans of the actual ship with the hull in the kit, and discovered the kits hull is slightly too level and missing some sheer towards the bow, they recrified it by building up the bow a few mm (not sure of the exact amount) and filling some of the port holes and re cutting some new ones to follow the new sheer. OC.

    Is this the kit thats needs some slight work on the sheer towards the bow (upwards) inlcuding some of the port holes.? OC.

    Here's the result after taking the masks off and giving the hull a gentle wash with a soft sponge. OC.

    Also they are really hardwearing and dry real fast mine are touch dry to re coat with a brush immediatly after drying with a hairdryer between coats. OC.

    Deffo mate the jars are 22ml each and dilute really well and are spayer compatable, I would deffo get the set of six. OC.
