popeye the sailor Posted November 19, 2019 #91 Posted November 19, 2019 I run into things like that with decals........the Nine o Nine build is a good example. the supplied decal sheet is less than adequate and doesn't point to any definite subject......it's missing half of the markings anyway. after market has saved me in that respect. granted, the decal sheet didn't include the Nine o Nine nose art, but one couldn't detail a model even with the existing nose art. for detail, I've had kits that are really good.......some not so good. disappointing when you buy something that looks really cool, turns out to be a dud. popeye the sailor Posted October 25, 2021 #93 Posted October 25, 2021 fantastic looking loco Craig.....turned out to be very detailed. you sold it?!?!..........the vision you outlined won't be realized it would have looked really good with a rail gun.......though I haven't seen a rail gun molded in 1:35. I recently received the Hasegawa 1:72 Leopold kit.....should have a log going soon.
