New to building plank on frame models!

Started building the Virginia 1819 by Artesania Latina in February 2020 and sure wish that I would have found this site before starting!

There are a lot of great tips and observations from other builders for this kit which I could have used instead of powering through the issues I encountered!

I’m looking forward to seeing how to master the art of wooden model ship building.

As I told a co-worker and fellow model ship builder, nothing is as frustrating nor oddly satisfying than building a wooden model ship!

That model's already looking very good, Fuji. You've done very well in just a few months!

Welcome to MSW. Start up a build log for your model (you can include "post-dated"photos).  We're all suckers for pictures of beautiful ship models and you should be able to pick up a lot of tips as you're going along.
