Hopefully not too late, but here it is. I'm Fred, 55 years old and back at the hobby about 4 years after a break for 30 years. It's unbelievable how much has changed since then with new techniques and materials. Thankfully my wife supports me in the hobby (she is quite resourceful and has created bookshelves with a flightline on it) and knows that this hobby allows me to take my mind off work and relax.
