Another of my small projects. I recently have seen the photo of the model boat, which was interesting me.

I have wrote to the author of the model and he told me that this boat is a typical for Sardinia the southern Mediterranean area Andalucia.

A couple of weeks ago I started building the model of this boats in a bottle.

Best Regards!

Igor.

Hi Igor,

I've never watched a ship in a bottle being made before so I'll follow along if you don't mind.  :)

The hull looks fantastic!

Cheers,

Nigel.

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the compliment!

Yes of course!

This is the very simple model, but I try to use the same methods which I use in the construction of more complex models.

Best Regards!

Igor.

Hi Igor,

Love the furled sail and the rigging as well what I believe is the anchor in your last picture.

Can I ask if you using a microscope do to this work? I find things hard at 1:60 scale.....can't imagine doing all this in something that fits into a bottle!

Cheers,

Nigel.

Hey Igor. Congratulation. This became a really nice ship. I am not really sure, but I think I like it most of all the ships you posted so far. The proportions, the different woods, everything fits and looks nicely. When looking at it I get into mood to stop my current project of a 1:200 Flying Cloud and build a mini boat for bottling again. Lets see. Looking forward to see yours bottled. Regards. Harry

Hi Harry!
I'm glad to see you in this log! And of course I hope to look at the construction of your SIB also.
Yesterday I have added some the little detailes. And today I have started to place the boat in bottle.

Best Regarsd!

Igor.

Thank you Jan!

In fact, I made this model for 2 weeks in times their spare of the main project. The design of this boat is very simple and it has a little parts.

Best Regards!

Igor.
