Hello Zarkon. I have a lot of tools and machines of all kinds, but those adjustments you are talking about are made with a manual tool. Files, rasps, sandpaper stuck to different shapes and manual saws of marquetry. It does not take much to dedicate to this, the problem is that all of us who do it, have authentic vice for the tool and buy and buy. I like to work in silence and feel how a newly sharpened tool works.

    Good morning.
  7. Hello Albert. It would be very interesting to see more in detail the breakdown of the entire base and the supports of the ship, the slide cars. If you can not, do not worry. It is very interesting Thanks Albert
  8. Hello Albert. When I see your work, I remember why I dedicate myself to this. I love.

  12. Hello, Doris. Can you put a photograph of the material you use to model the figures? Do you need an oven to harden? Thank you very much teacher.

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model shipcraft.

The Nautical Research Guild puts on ship modeling seminars, yearly conferences, and juried competitions. We publish books on ship modeling techniques as well as our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, whose pages are full of articles by master ship modelers who show you how they build those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you what details to build.
