I agree. It does look 100% more uniform and symmetrical! Nice!

I hear that Dennis. Some buddies of mine went out and bought snow machines, and now have to go north 600 miles to find enough snow to run them on.

Hate to hear about re-does, but your solution looks like it will work out much better. I know that's a word I'll be getting myself acquainted with soon enough.

It might vary from country to country with ship-building practices too. I don't know! The ship I was referring to is the Constitution, so maybe the Montanes was a different time-period/country and had different ship-building practices?

I think a lot of people who buy those expensive saws are using them professionally and making a living with them. No one appreciates quality tools like me, but for our purposes, and how much we'll actually use them, I myself can't justify spending $1,000 - $1500 plus, on one, -- -- at least not yet!

Yup - A rebel that goes where Angels fear to tread Mike!
As long as it keeps getting good results, following the "guide book" to the letter is optional.

I could not resist setting the pinnace in it's stand upon the grating. I am still thinking on how to be able to lift the frame structure up to see the gundeck below; just another bridge to cross when the rigging is completed.
Nice work Ken! Been wondering that myself and wondering how easy that will be once all of the rigging is in place. Maybe utilizing the unused burton pendants somehow to rig a 4 point lift between the Fore and Main masts, accessible from the outside of the hull?

Greg there isn't a quoin under the barrel in the rear.
The red arrow indicates the quoin!![post-12186-0-11549400-1453779746_thumb.jpg](https://modelshipworld.com/uploads/monthly_01_2016/post-12186-0-11549400-1453779746_thumb.jpg)
