I decided to attempt to make the deck rings for the air scoops  from mahogany. Was very gently on the cutting as it is very  difficulty because it is such a soft wood. Before sanding i saturated them with thin CA to give the wood cells some strength and to prevent them from breaking. Used the Turbo Carver to sand as it is very gentle on the pieces. To my amazement none of them broke.

Water tank installed now I can install the top roof.  Have not figured out how I am getting the 4.5 volt battery in the dr k house but will figure it out in due course.

Soldered a ladder in a jig that came out remarkably accurate.  

What is interesting Gary

is very few people in our country knew about this service far less about the first steamship that formed part of our rail service. This boat provided an essential communication link for many years.
