G'day Mark I looked at the photos in the enlarged format, and I can't see any indications that this is enlargement from the model. All the wooden joins and the ropes are superbly done. G'day Nils I've been working in my computer to see if can find the colour of the life bouy. The above photo I took a sample in photoshop (Red circle) and it was 25%. This one is made a graduate grey scale from the graduate colour scale and I found the 25% Mark and it's is on the blue line. The colour above is something close to the bouy, if my calculations are accurate. Sorry for the dots in this colour sample as I took a photo of my screen with my camera. G'day Keith I also agree with Pete. I spent the last 2 weeks rereading Mark's, Vince's and your logs on the RW. They are all incredible and the way Mark, Vince and you approached their own builds is so amazing and completely different. The results for all three are inspiring to all future RW builders. The way you approached the transom is so unique, I'm sure future RW builders will borrow this and turn it around and make it their own version. The only thing that I can ask of you is to PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THIS MARVELOUS BUILD AND YOUR INFORMATIVE LOG. Hope and pray to see you back soon. Allthebest mate Greg

G'day Nils Bloody marvelous again. Looking at the black and white photo of the men at the horse shoe shape life preserver, it could be a bright yellow or an orange, not white. Yellowish colours in b&w photo can be produced as a dirty white. The white cap of one of the men is white. See the difference? Just my view anyway mate. havagooday Greg

G'day Dave This model is bloody marvelous mate. Your eye for detail is outstanding, and did you say years ago that this is you FIRST model? Unbelievable! Are you going to add crow feet to the masks? They week there on the HMS ENDEAVOUR but not on the HMB endeavor. This factor is going to be addressed, I believe, to make the replica more realistic. Havagooday mate Greg

G'day ca.shipwright I guess I can answer that for you. When I solver solder, I dip all the ends to be soldered in Flux (age doesn't destroy Flux with my experience, and my Flux is on the jelly side now). I then join the pieces together and heat them up and let the silver solder soak onto the joins. havagooday Greg

I agree with Pat. Bloody great turning mate. 1 down and how many attempt till all is done? If it was me I will probably get 1 out of 60, till I'm satisfied or the breakages will dive me crazy. Have you thought about casting and do multiple copies? Havagoodone Greg
