Hi Derek,
I cut the blade with a Dremel rotary saw and when needed I finish it of with a file. The blade is not a razor blade but a piece of a cutter blade. I think that a razor blade would fracture while scraping oak.

In the second part of the starboard side, I leave an opening in the planking to keep the frames visual. I took over the shape of the opening from the Zeljko Triton cros section which can be found on the cross section forum under the name 'UWEK Triton Build (re-post by mod)'. I made it only a bit wider to show all nine frames.
