  1. Very beautiful wooden line Hakan. I look forward to continuing. Ondras
  2. I appreciate your words Backer and Louie da fly Thus covered the railings of the main deck and stretched from it wales. Railings and rails glued with long pins..
  3. Czech modeler Doris Obručová advised me to use an external matt spray topcoat. I tried matt Vallejo varnish .. Tests outside the ship have shown the best way to pour a horizontal layer of paint ... Bingo Then dry with a hair dryer and .. the surface is matte! Ship finally unpacked .. I will not edit any more..💥 O.
  4. The dyeing is already finished after two months, the retouches have stretched a bit. Red sprayed somewhere again. I damaged the acrylic paint with alcohol .. Spraying with matt clear lacquer is also not without problems, semi-gloss paints do not want to matte. I'm studying how to do it..
  5. I'm fighting green. The first did not cover at all .. I had to use the darker one. At the same time, the front wall was redesigned.. The result is not so bad.. Retouches are still waiting for me and matte lacquer comes on top..🧐 O.
  6. Blue done, only a few retouches .. I choose the green color .. Ready for green color..
  7. Thank you Landrotten Highlander. I have already ordered a lighter green, after the adjustment the sides would not be the same. Ondras Hips ready for blue ..
  8. I went green. When choosing colors, I tried to catch the shades of Vasa colors.. But the green is too dark after spraying.. I will have to order a light..😲
  9. Thank you very much Backer!! I'm starting with the diamonds on the front wall, I want to find out what they will look like .. Preparing for the green ..
  10. Thanks for the like.. Two days spraying colored strips..💣💥 Unmasked, a few places to repair, but satisfaction.. Now I have the most demanding belt with blue and green cubes waiting for me.. O.
  11. Greetings. I'm just starting an airbrush for a wooden model, I've studied model fibers, especially for plastic models, there's a lot of information. The finding is that it suits everyone and everyone recommends something different, it is important to buy and try and try until you get used to it. After a few experiments with acrylic paints, I am satisfied with the result, the brush never again .. Good luck!! Ondras
  12. I have already finished the white one, a lot of layers were needed for the dark wood. But the result is beyond my expectations..💥 Another question, on the German plan from the book "Risse von Schiffen des 16./17. Jahrhunderts " and on my Czech adaptation, is a different shape of geometric shapes. But the Czech one has a simpler square one, so I'll probably use it..😇
  13. Thank you very much and I really appreciate your words friends.. Knee of the head hips reinforced against twisting.. Made a spray box 1 meter wide from a paper box and discarded kitchen hoods .. After training outside the boat, I start spraying ..💣
  14. Thank you very much Boxbuilds and Louie!! I continue to produce parts that will be painted.. And I'm already training dry with an airbrush..
  15. Greetings. I like to see a building from my period here .. Aren't you planning a keel, sternpost and Rudder made of wood? Ondras
  16. Thank you very much Boxbuilds!! Thanks to new information on the construction of Dutch ships, the Knee of the head was repaired.. and Beams shaped..
  17. Thanks for the like.. Due to the need for dyeing and the need to create all the parts that will be dyed, I started making Knee of the head. I studied the construction of Knee of the head, it is nicely covered in the Czech thread by Doris Obručová for its construction Sovereign of the Seas .. https://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=177&t=43575&p=882705&hilit=klounová+paluba#p882705 A study of Dutch ships, I found that the grate of the deck drawn from the folded slats is from a later time, historically more faithful is the grate of longitudinal planks, as in the plan of the Pinas Vitsen by Ab Hoving. Production of Knee of the head.. Delivered paints and accessories to the airbrush..
  18. Surrounded and waxed. The pins finally hold the wax-glued parts firmly.. I'm starting to make railings .. Waxed gratings of the main deck ..
  19. Thank you very much Backer, it's a compliment from you..🧐 Machined vertical beams glued to the supporting part .. The front pillars, where the head will be carved, gave the most work.. I also have beams ready for the first carving test.. As a basis for the head, I used a drawing from Derfflinger's plan, RL is unusable.. Test whether pattex adhesive sticks to the waxed surface - OK! Simple beams glued. Pins and wax are waiting..
  20. Thank you very much Louie da fly and FriedClams. I try to be hard on myself ..🧐 I started making vertical beams that protect the side when launching boats. Base milled, but precise grooves created by the files .. Installation of klinkbout on the sides..
  21. I'm glad I can help while I can. I am sending a link to the work of the Czech modeller Vladimír Mareš to your work on the blocks, I used the same method. I can recommend.. https://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=177&t=68726&p=1551963&hilit=kompletací+košů+bloky+pod+košem#p1551963
  22. In my opinion, you have the pulley turned, the hole must be at the yard. I prefer to use pulleys with an imitation of a wheel that is inside, ie with two holes. I just want to keep you from repairing in time. Ondras
  23. Hello. I keep my fingers crossed for a good result. Pay attention to the function of the pulley ..
