  1. Steve, she's a beautiful little rig. Wish I was there to help as I'd love to make or help make something that neat and pleasing to the eye.
  2. Eric, great workspace and it even comes with a bed! After following your's and Brian's workshop builds I have workshop envy to the max.
  3. Remarkable and that it's your father's work makes it even that much more remarkable. I guess we all chase after our fathers hand.
  4. Igor, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  5. Freedo, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  6. Tom, sorry to hear about your back. Looking forward to you resuming work on the Sophie.
  7. SC, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  8. What a great story, VB, especially coming on the heals of Father's Day. Thank you for that.
  9. Allan, you can get a sense of the restoration effort through this log. I'm sure that if you made contact expressing interest he'd give all the information he has. I'd love to see someone like yourself from the membership take on this model. She's a lovely ole lass.
  10. My parents home was on a hill and the driveway had a pretty good slope to it. Back in the early fifties I'd take my skates apart and nail the wheels to both ends of one of dad's 2x4 cut offs. Myself and kids up and down the block would sit on the 2x4 and roll down the driveway or if dared, you'd ride down the driveway standing on the 2x4, kinda like a skateboard but long before skateboards that we know today. Knees and elbows constantly had the skin scraped off and occasionally there were broken bones. We were young and immortal, we didn't need no stinkin' risk awareness.
  11. 12. Thore, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard. Put "Cutty Sark" in the search box and go through the numerous Cutty Sark build logs, I'm sure you find answers to all your questions.
  13. Good to see this one on the cusp of completion, nicely done, Mark.
  14. Stephane, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  15. Not if you've got the kids doing cleanup duties. ......Recommended sink height in a ship's galley is 34 inches, I don't think anyone is going to notice 5.5 inches at scale.
  16. Pam, I had to laugh at myself, I first read that as "I'm expecting"
  17. Sorry I missed the startup, Glen. This one is going to be epic, a great dedication piece for your friend.
  18. EP, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  19. Michael, so glad to hear you've recovered. We're here in tune with whatever pace you set, nice to see you back in the workshop.
  20. Love the ceiling tiles. That's gonna be one spiffy workshop, it'll be neat to see the future projects that emerge.
  21. Herby, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
