  1. I love the last photo, so much told in a single photograph.
  2. Keith, I was looking at your latest photos and I saw color in the 7th and 8th photos and it took me a second to remember, it's the flags in their cubby. So many treasured post and pleasant memories.
  3. You sure you don't have a laser printer tucked away somewhere? That looks fantastic, Glen!
  4. Rob, you could make the mizzen in two pieces with the upper piece having a slight jog just below deck level. you'd have to fiddle a bit getting the correct angle. You could use 18 GA wire to pin the two pieces together once the angle was established.
  5. Rob, I think adding a screw and screwing the mizzen into the lower deck would be an alignment nightmare, IMHO.
  6. It appears the top of the bottle is cloudy near the neck. You could try reaching in the neck with a Q-Tip soaked in different solutions till you find one that cleans the top of the bottle. You could go so far as to put resin in a throw away bottle, let it cure, and then see if the solution that cleans the fog reacts negatively with the test bottle. How's the calf/young steer doing?
  7. Is the Morey lemon liqueur inexpensive and/or any good? If so, simply starting over might be the easier option. Or you could go with a cloudy sky effect.
  8. Daniel, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  9. And a long sea creature slithering along the bottom of the bottle.. This build is gonna be way cool, Glen. I'm all setup here on the front row ready to follow along.
  10. Gizmo, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  11. Nicely done, Kortes. I'd go with raw brass. I don't remember seeing iron skylight grilles.
  12. Poor little penguin but guess what, that skier's next! Cool project, Glen.
  13. Mike, will the mystery object slide over the tiller? The only thing I can even speculate is that it's a rudder limiter. It's a weird one that's for sure.
  14. DeHammer, welcome to MSW. Glad to have you aboard.
  15. The carpenters and painters did a fantastic job, Siggi. I think an extra ration of rum for the lot is in order. .
  16. Seven pixels wide and three pixels at the ends, that just blows my mind. My fat fingers would have that hull squashed almost instantly. I take a bow to your ability, Eberhard.
  17. Monsieur Haricot, welcome to MSW. I hope your first project is a total success.
  18. Beautiful ship's wheel, Bitao, They're not easy to make, very well done.
  19. Another great photo, MCB. Why/how is the inside of that stack so clean? The barges in the background would make a good secondary subject.
  20. How fortunate we are to be able to be watch Valeriy's masterpiece come to life.
  21. Gary, I check on it about every three hours. Glen, the only thing I've ever seen are brass plaques, never a builders plate and I'm not sure there was such a thing for a ship? Maybe Roger knows? I have no idea why you would think I would suggest making a builder's plate for your SIB Roger, I'm keeping a close eye on it but I don't want to reach out to the seller just yet. I'll give it another four or five days and then I'll message him and try to start a dialog. I've got some trade items that hopefully we might be able to come to agreement on.
