wonderful Kay, :) Nils -
Hi Toni, just read about the anxious time you went through with your pet. We have a fox terrier who also once took apart a little PVC plastic sqeeky toy. We found most of the fractions afterwards but for two or three bits still missing. With a sigh of relief they came out the natural way after two days. I like our galley stove looks, it looks very well.... Nils

no, not disappointed Kester, in fact I beleave a good built half model is also a great challenge. In our old school I remember, we had a large steamer-halfmodel, mounted to a mirror in a glas case, it was of course the totally mirrored of the built side, whereby ships are not actualy that symmetrical, but the effect was grand to see Nils

Bob, I came accross these...., looks like this is a webshop.. http://www.fuhrmann-figuren-shop.de/KF-ANI-72001-Ratten 10 little rats cast in tin, in all positions. The man-figure does not belong to the group, for comparing size only. trust the price is nice and low, so there would be no risk... Nils

Many thanks Kester, for your kind comment... Coming back on your Statsraad Lehmkuhl I noticed that you put (half model) down in your signature link...., no complete hull planed ? have you changed your mind ? Nils

thanks very much Christian, your words are much appreciated... I`m also looking at your beautiful scale 1:32 HMS Fly build ( twice the size of mine), wow, that will be "solitaire eyecatcher" for a large room, when it`s done Nils

Thanks very much Bug, I`ll be happy if the one or other detail can be of reference, and look forward to your first sequences with HMS Pegasus in due time.... Nils

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
