Winter is slowly returning to this part of the world and I will slowly be returning back to my model ship work bench.
This is where I left off and where I will be starting the new build season.
I will keep modelshipworld in touch as the work progresses.
All of your comments/inputs/advices are more than appreciated and welcomed.

A few winters ago, I stayed a few weeks in Bradenton Fla. Lots to see and visit in the area. Anna Maria Island in particular. A very nice baseball stadium, very good restaurants and bars.

You know you haven't been keeping up on your build when you return to find that someone else's model has taken over your log 😂😮!
Not that I don't think BigDan did a great job on his Fifie (I do), I'm just not sure the middle of my build log is the right place for it.
Sorry for the intrusion that got you so upset. It was my first time posting something on MSW and I hadn't figured out how it all worked. Again I apologize, I am slowly getting the hang of it. Thank you to the administrator for sorting it out by "splitting" away my post from PJG's.

That looks great!
Maybe you can share some build pics in a separate log? If not, maybe add some completed images to our Gallery.
I built the model differently than my usual procedure.
At first I was very hesitant about the different types, colours and finishes to use on the boat. I was going for a "weathered" look as opposed to "nice & shiny".
Then, the Covid-19 thing brought shopping for materials to a halte.
So, I stated to build all the components separately, do the paint and then final assembly.
Here are some of the steps.

Beautiful looking fishing boat. Would you recommend this model to someone who is fairly new. Currently on my second model HMS Bounty which is also by Amati.
If you are OK with the HMS Bounty, you will be OK with this model.
