    Hi JP, My manual was saying that I have to do the first planking around the gun ports. Not as with the Aggy, you do the first planking and then you have to drill it out. There where no frames in the way. Everything was free. I hope this help you. But you can always play a little with the space. See what works for you the best.

    Hi David, Nice progress ! And then for the bleed. For the outside it doesn't matter because you have to plank over it. For the inner side of the bulwark…get some thin planking, a little darker or the same colour as the hull, and plank the bulwark ! Then you don't see a thing anymore.

    Hi Mick, I'm sorry that I'm a little late but from what do you want a picture? I tapered the yards already….. Now I have blisters…... I want to use the electric drill but that won't work. So I take the power sanding machine and that works

    No Augie, that's not possible….. The moderator in the house is not agree with you ! I have to finish the other two before I can order the Essex And with the Mirage loosing an old friend???? I think she is happy when I don't touch her anymore….

    That boiler looks big Jared. Maybe it looks different when it is in place. Keep on coming with those pictures

    You can call me dummy !!!!! or something like that…. I have found the dowels…. I was cleaning the room this morning and put all the wood from the kit that is not used, into a vase….. I turn the vase upside down and there it was…….the dowel of 8 mm…….. So I can go on with the tapering , tomorrow ! @ jared, Welcome back ! Long time no see. To long if you ask me. Thanks for the nice comment ! @ Frank, Thanks also It is attempting to see the Aggy. But I try to keep my promises. First finishing the Le Mirage before she get ou of the box. Till now it works

    The Aggy is still in the box. The San Ildefonso is still on the shelf The Le Mirage is on the workbench

    Thank you all very much I have done nothing today . I just sit and take a look I was checking the dowels for the masts and I'll be missing some 8 mm and 6 mm and I found out that one dowel of 5 mm have a crack in it 8 mm for the yards….that's thick ! So I have to see if i can found it this weekend otherwise …..go back to the SI . @ Jim, You have seen it correctly. That's the box from the Aggy. I jus keep her where I can see her…..and drooling a little Thanks again for your nice comment !!!!!!

    Hi Mick, Two things. When i was building the Corsair, I'll keep the beads just as it is in the manual. Black and silver and it looks just great ! For shaping the mast, I also use the drill. And a little tape on it and softly with sandpaper go over it . Be careful with your hands, it's getting hot !

    For a while it is over with ratlines….till I'm at the part of the bowsprit The shrouds and ratlines on the top gallant mast in and top gallant mizzen mast are done ! First some cleaning in the workroom and then to the yards/spars. Another fine job…...

    And now we have to look at this one Great progress again Popeye ! How about the camera and microphone?????????? When it takes just as long as the build, we talk to each other in 2020
