Nice to see some progress Augie! You have the nerve to use a machine for the framing? Are you not afraid that you remove to much? If possible I keep mine far away

Ferit, As a Rear Admiral I ORDER you to build an other vessel after the Berlin !!!!!!!!! Beside that I can give orders, I need someone who let me know where are ratlines missing…... So, After Berlin, you go to the hobby store, Internet, MSW forum to see what is gonna be your next build !
-
Hi Ferit, First thing I do tomorrow morning is tying another ratline on the main mast at the top so they compere with each other…….. And you are right, I have no candles yet in the house….excuse me please ! And thanks for you confidence in me I'll still be doing my best !

So here it is. My 3000 post ! I have to be honest, Mark has already more then 3000……. All the credits goes to him ! But this is not only a post for the 3000. The ratlines of the lower part of the masts are finished. Tomorrow I can start with making the deadeyes and shrouds for the next part of the masts. So more ratlines to come
-
Thanks Robbyn and Sam, @ Robbyn, I'm far away from the finish line. I have to do the shroud and ratlines on the middle masts and on the main mast the 3 th level. Then the bowsprit has shrouds and ratlines. Then I have to make the spars and then all the running rigging……. So it still takes a few months…..

Hi Adriaan, maybe a silly question…but why a magnet ????? Demolition is never good but if needed, you have to do it ! I'm gonna take a look at the Corch Fork

And there we go again Thank you all for the nice comment ! @ Mick, That bowsprit thing is also new for me. I even have to place shrouds and ratlines on it….. But that's for the end ! I have take a look at you Will Everard and the popcorn machine is in place. @ Lawrence, Thanks Only foremast ratlines and then up... Yippie, more ratlines ! @ Randy, Also thanks ! @ Aldo, Thanks again I'm glad that you like the " fix " I hope that I can take the foremast a little up... If not….don't look at it in the front then @ Popeye, You have also a good eye. You are using that magnifier thing ? Yes, the gammoning is also in place. Mobbsie told me that I have to do it first before I put the forestay on. Otherwise the bowsprit is flying around….. @ Augie, Don't talk about that bowsprit please….. I still don't know how to put the lower deadeyes on to it…. But that's for later. @ John, No rats allowed in the hobby room but I don't use spiders. Augie is keeping them for him self. I use rigging gnomes…... @ Patrick, Thank you ver much

Hi Mick, Sorry for the delay…... Another one to follow ! I shall place the popcorn machine and Wayne has already take care of the beverage. Billing Boats have always plastic in his kits. I'm glad that you are gonna change that ! The start is good so, I take my seat and will see what's next.

I know that the foremast is now ( I think ) a little bit to far to the back. I hope I can change that otherwise I let it this way. PICTURES!!!!!! And Ferit? I have fix the gap
-
Hi Ferit, Great work, I see that you don't have chainplates for the deadeyes???? Never see that before Nice white rope that you are using. I have checkt all your ratlines and I don't see a gap

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
