Thanks Randy,
Filling those caps is also for me a difficult thing to do.
I know I spoiled a few before it is correct.
I think I go further with the complete plates and at the end I am gonna start the filling.

I promise you an update today and here it come.......
Not the update that you are expecting but it is one !
Caldercraft give me a cradle with nothing..
I know that some is painting them or giving it a layer of stain.
I didn't do that.
Because I love planking, I have planked the whole thing !
When that was done I give it two layers of mat varnish.
I think it looks good.
But, see for your self.
I also place the nameplate that I've got from Mobbsie.
But, I don't want you to think that I'm doing nothing, the last picture is an update from the starboard side.
So you see that I'm still at the copperplates !

Good Day Sir, I purchased my ship 4 years ago and due to my work and travel have never started it. But that is about to change. I have read numerous logs regarding the model and all seem to mention that the plans are in accurate in areas and that the instruction book isn't as detailed as it could be? I was wondering if these snags have been improved in the recently issued model kits?
I am from Liverpool a maritime city and the sea is in my blood.....but I joined the Army (no regrets). Any help would be most appreciated.
Tom
Sorry that I'm not answering you Tom.
I don't know how the manual was years ago....
I have these day's no problems at all.
The drawings are clear to me.
But don't forget, Mobbsie is helping me.
He is a walking manual ......
When you start a build log, let me know and I will follow you and help you where I can.

This is just something that happened.
When we are talking about it, there will be some how a solution to solve it.
Other builders in the future has benefit of it.
I will wait to see where you came up with
