  1. Just seen my build has just hit 100K views - Thats Amazing, so much thanks from me to everyone who has taken the time to view my build.😃 OC.
  2. Afternoon all, I managed to do a bit more today - I am working on the remaining group including my Two British cavalry, I added light brushing of flat coat with my trusty Mig Ammo Lucky ultra matt, when new it brushes on fine, they still have some detail painting to do. OC.
  3. Moving forward I have a few more French chaps that need their Blue darkening, then I will move onto painting the rest that are built and finish off by building any french I have left in my stash as we can not have enough French shown attacking the farm. OC.
  4. Evening all, more progress with darkening the French jackets - going quite well I think, I have managed to take a few photos - OC.

  6. I love this, I have always had an interest in space stuff including UFO crafts (and yes I have seen and photographed a few strange things) OC.
  7. Evening all, I did a bit more today - first thing I did though was to get my LED light out (only for an hour due to electric costs) I changed over my group of painted French for another group then I mixed some more darkened Blue and with my fine tip brush, I brushed over the Blue areas the put them a side to dry. The colour certainly is improving and the flat coat should do the trick when it arrives. OC.
  8. Evening all, so I did my darkened brush coats over my groups arms, they darkened nicely but the sheen still remained shiny well more like a satin shade. but no bother I have ordered a small 17ml bottle of my trusty mig ammo lucky acrylic ultra matt varnish. OC.
  9. I had to re - read this cuz I first though "what - Seahorses" OC.
  10. Evening all, I have decided in the absence of any Flat Coat Lacquer, I will re paint quite a few of the French arms, (as they are standing out the most and still slightly shiny like satin) my idea is based on the French uniforms where mainly a very dark Black - Blue, and tended to vary, what I will do is to use my Matt Black and add some Matt Blue at a ratio of say Eight drops Black to Two drops Blue, that way it should come out a nice Flat darker shade of Blue and may not need top coat lacquering until I can get some more lacquer for the rest of them. OC.
