  2. well i made a start, a few days away from making sawdust though 1x cherry planking 2x pear framing 1x sycamore-don't know what for (forgotten) 1x maple decking also bought a chuck for my lathe, was fed up not being able to centre the lumber and a couple of proxxon blades for the fet i may purchase the brynes sander for crimbo

  5. good afternoon photo of the hull steps ladder, maybe they would have looked better in hemp and possibly fitted to the steps rather than the side, but for know that's where they are
  6. the reason i bought it was because at the time i was doing to do the Triton build, but then as now doubted my abilities to do such a project, hence the 1/72 Victory came into my life so i never used it

  14. just re read your build- lovely work, do you have some more pictures of the stern area, from your photo, the stern gun ports look at a very acute angle, no criticism is intended - again lovely work

Mark i appreciate you receive wood for the frames keel, top hull planking, and decking beams what else is received?, and what else did you buy to complete this build, like decking etc If for any reason i was to fully plank one side, can you remember what the thickness of the wood was i have found a local wood yard that states they will mill wood down the customers specification, going to see them next week sorry for the silly questions

  19. lovely work, i will be interested to see if there is any reaction wrt the copper tiles/wear and tear- with the lacquers that you had previously put on, i still have nothing on mine, so i will be watching
