Mark i appreciate you receive wood for the frames keel, top hull planking, and decking beams what else is received?, and what else did you buy to complete this build, like decking etc If for any reason i was to fully plank one side, can you remember what the thickness of the wood was i have found a local wood yard that states they will mill wood down the customers specification, going to see them next week sorry for the silly questions

  9. to purchase these exotic in billets of spindles and bowl blanks as woods to complete, saw, and mill to complete the timber work that is not included in the lumber pack, This company is very close to me and the question was - could I use these, sorry I badly worded the original question
  10. good afternoon Been getting my knickers in a twist about purchasing my new build from Lumber yard I appreciate that I will need extra timber to do the extra bits I need, like decking and internal planking and panelling, mast's etc I have found a supplier in the uk, my question is, can I use it after being processed through a thicknesser and bandsaw perhaps it sounds a stooped question, but the costs from the states are high www.yandles.co.uk/bowl-blank-shop/c907

  13. steve, i doubt that anyone other than family and close friends will ever see her, and lol in a couple of months she will be to big to take out for daylight photo's the stun booms when fitted will make her to wide to get through the garage door

Good afternoon everyone After the excitement of the new build coming up, it was back to the Victory and the hammock netting, the build as stated before will be in a diorama setting, so the used look continues to apply (lol my excuse for totally getting it all wrong - and looking shabby) some of the netting looks like it needs doing again - but for now i am happy
